The Opportunity

MyndYou is hiring a Vice President/Head of Sales – responsible for implementing strategy and executing sales within the US Market, focused specifically on developing partnerships within Private and Government Payers as well as at-risk provider groups. Reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for topline revenue growth and leadership. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who solves client’s business challenges through a consultative sales approach to building effective, long-term relationships.

Responsible for driving Myndyou’s Analytic AI Engine driving value-based offerings and experience, the position includes but is not limited to leading sales, marketing and strategic partnerships.

In this entrepreneurial business development role, you will join an innovative health-tech organization. You will have the challenge and autonomy to build a world-class book of business and leverage a supportive customer success team to drive revenue growth.

Qualified candidates will have a strong network and proven track record of securing new clients and consistent client growth across the target markets. Experience selling SAAS, AI/ML technology solutions into Payer centric markets with expertise within the Medicare Advantage community.

MyndYou is an innovative digital health company dedicated to the development and commercialization of an AI-enabled monitoring and engagement virtual health platform, which has been designed and deployed to better manage remote patient care within the senior community.

We are looking for a strong, proven, strategic leader to help us capitalize on opportunities to rapidly scale our solution with health plans and at-risk providers, and to prioritize and expand market access opportunities from there.

About You

You are a passionate, energetic, proven commercial leader with a documented history of success in healthcare, and experience selling directly to health payers as well as providers. You understand value-based care and alternative payment models.

You accomplish big things and won’t settle for less than a position that allows you to contribute to something important and bigger than yourself, with an opportunity to positively impact outcomes for the communities you serve. You strike a balance between confidence and humility, quick to share credit for wins and take ownership for shortfalls.

You’ve built and led teams from startup through acquisitions and beyond and know just how many hats get worn when building an early stage, high growth organization. You have developed followership, and your past reports would be glad to work for you again. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to build the sales engine before you have a team of your own to support future growth.

You are a strategic and tactical thinker. You hit the ground running, quickly sizing up the market, the opportunity and optimal paths to achieve objectives. You are comfortable advising the C-suite on efficient and effective commercial strategies, managing the P&L and focusing on the right things to help your organization achieve its big goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to effectively present MyndYou solutions to payers and value-based providers. Establish and drive relationships at the following levels: CEO, COO, CMO, CTO Clinical Chairperson, Medical Director and VP of Digital Health and Telehealth
  • Coordinate with leadership and colleagues to effectively present, design, sell, contract for, and implement solutions that solve customers’ virtual health care needs
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of MyndYou solutions; serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of many topics; being the connector on others, bringing other SMEs into the sales, design, contracting, and implementation processes
  • Effectively manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously; moving them through a process that concludes with customers committing to multi-year agreements
  • Oversee and direct marketing programs that serve successful commercial execution

The Head of Sales will:

  • Manage the existing sales pipeline, close deals and drive the territory to exceed annual revenue goals pertaining to new, expansion, and renewal opportunities
  • Manage and build the sales support functions
  • Conduct executive presentations to drive visionary, enterprise-wide solutions which maximize sales value while building customer brand
  • In parallel, drive use-case based solutions and sales across emerging environments
  • Serve as primary contact for MyndYou’s customers, partners, and alliances
  • Responsible for driving high customer satisfaction; organizing and leading effective quarterly business reviews
  • Develop detailed account plans and strategies for securing new business and achieving sales goals
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish and collaborate with operations to deliver profitable growth
  • Manage CRM and track sales activities including client calls, client meetings, product demos, and contract negotiations
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and corresponding measurement information for the leadership team and Board of Directors
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and inform company leadership team and other company functions
  • Help build the marketing function to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs
  • Travel for in-person meetings, as needed, with customers and partners

Key Experience

  • 10+ years’ proven experience leading sales efforts in healthcare, with at least 2 years of experience selling to or partnering with health payers and at-risk providers
  • Experience with enterprise software (SaaS), digital health, AI/ML enterprise-wide products or services preferred
  • Startup and entrepreneurial expertise, building revenue from 0-10MM
  • Hands-on, dynamic personality, self-directed, resourceful and capable of operating with autonomy
  • Experience in both Health-Tech and the payer market, with an understanding of value-based care and related payment models
  • Experience building new client strategy and account-based sales plans
  • Experience building and growing a robust sale pipeline, a “closer”
  • Experience closing project-based ($100K+) as well as enterprise deals ($1M+)
  • Excellent at maintaining and presenting performance reports to leadership and peers.
  • Utilize a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and reporting
  • Skilled negotiator, polished public speaker, strong closer
  • College degree required, a graduate degree is a bonus
