The Opportunity

MyndYou is looking for a passionate Tech-Lead for our R&D group. In this position, you will take part in designing, planning, and building Eleanor, a conversational AI system, and its supporting systems. This will include the design and development of a system using ML models in real-time, as well as data ingestion and transformation. The role will be split 50% hands-on coding and 50% focusing on design, architecture, and driving technical solutions. You will lead professional and technical processes, striving to find the best solutions and ensuring the team’s success.

About You

You are an enthusiastic tech lead who cares about the product and wants end-to-end involvement in the development process, from design through coding and testing and all the way to production. You are passionate about creating impact, can make things happen, and most importantly, contribute to our development cycle and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• 7 years of experience in software development.
• 2 years (at least) of proven experience with backend development using Python.
• 5 years of experience in applications utilizing relational databases as part of the overall application architecture (MySQL or Postgres).
• 3 years of experience designing and defining architecture, including writing design reviews, and test plans as part of launching software products.
• 3 years experience with Cloud (AWS advantage) – working with ECS, EC2, Lambdas and more.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in CI/CD processes with tools like Github Actions, Gitlab, Jenkins.
• Experience with Redis, or similar frameworks (an advantage)
• Web development – API, Flask, FastAPI, ASYNC.IO.
• Experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
